PGA Golf Tournament Kiawah Island Accommodations

PGA Golf Championship comes to The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in August of 2012. Golf's premier players will contest for the Wannamaker Trophy at Kiawah Island in 2012. The PGA Championship is professional golf's final major tournament of the season, thus earning the moniker "Glory's last shot". The winner automatically receives an invitation to the other three major tournaments, The Masters, The U.S. Open and The Open Championship. Pete Dye, the course architect, crafted the course which opened in 1991. The most famous of the Kiawah Island golf courses, the Ocean Course ranks in the top 25 of the best courses in America. Nestled in the dunes along the Atlantic Ocean, the Ocean Course played host to one of the most memorable Ryder Cup matches in history!
